By Kate O’Connell”Big Brother” has been given a new name: the “Big B” or “Big Brother Mobile Phone”.
“Big B Mobile Phone” is the nickname given to Lenovo’s mobile phones and is used for the company’s flagship mobile, the IdeaPad Y510, and its smaller, more affordable and smaller sibling, the Y520.
The Y520, a flagship Lenovo mobile phone with a 4.3-inch screen, is also available with a “Big Bang” option, which combines the screen with a small battery.
Lenovo says it’s the first device in the world to do so.
Lenovo says the company has been working with “big brother” on the development of the Big B Mobile phone for the past year, but the company hasn’t provided a date or a release date.
It’s the latest move in Lenovo’s efforts to launch new phones, including the IdeaTouch X2, which it has promised to launch by the end of 2017.
The Y520 will also be available in two variants: the smaller Y520M, with a screen and battery size of 4.9 ounces, and the larger Y520XL, with an even larger screen and 6.5 ounces.
Both phones will be available at launch in China, though no release date has been announced.
Lenky has said it’s trying to increase its sales in China as part of its strategy to diversify into the smartphone market.
The company’s recent purchase of a Chinese phone maker, Gogo, also gave Lenovo a foothold in China.
“Lenovo is committed to making the Big Bang Mobile Phone the most affordable and powerful mobile phone available,” the company said in a statement.
“We will continue to work closely with the Chinese government and the private sector to ensure our mobile phones are delivered on time and in the best quality.”
“Big Bang Mobile” is also a new branding for Lenovo’s phone lineup.
The “Y520” phone is currently called the Y510.
